St. Martin-in-the-Fields Episcopal Church named a new rector this week, W. Jarrett Kerbel. The 44 year-old is currently the executive director of the Crisis Ministry of Princeton and Trenton. His first sunday at the church will be on February 6, 2011.
"I could not be more excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve St. Martin-in-the-Fields as rector," Kerbel said. "I already feel a wonderful sense of connection to the vestry and discernment committee, and I look forward to the wonderful journey we will all share in the coming years. I see so many gifts and so much strength at St. Martin’s. My joy will be to work with God’s many blessings as they empower us for ministry and mission.”
