Wilson P. Bodycot, 89 of Mount Airy passed away at home on Wednesday January 26, 2011. Wilson, known as Bill to his family and friends was born in Philadelphia PA on April 2, 1921 to the late Percy and Ivy Bodycot. He attended Philadelphia area public schools. As a young man, Bill proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was trained aircraft mechanic, where he gained a lifelong love of airplanes. He was employed as a buyer agent for the Yarway Company until his retirement in the early 1970's. Bill was a devoted husband to his loving wife Louise until her death in 2005. Left to cherish his memory are several
relatives including Robert Bodycot (Claire) of Newark DE, William Bodycot (Ginna) of Newark DE and Jim Richardson of Phoenix AZ. Bill will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his dear friend Kathleen Statue.
A memorial service took place Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at the Kirk & Nice Funeral Home, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting.
