Check out what to do this upcoming weekend of June 24-26. Relax with a movie or rock out at a concert, find a born-again vintage gem at a flea market and listen to bluegrass music and enjoy food tastings on the perfect first weekend of summer.

Screen Play: What: Bad Teacher (R) When: June 24 Where: Check your local listings

A comedy starring Cameron Diaz as Elizabeth Halsey, a foul-mouthed ‘bad teacher’ who, after being dumped by her boyfriend, attempts to woo a colleague in attempt to make more money and possibly change her ‘bad’ ways.

What: Cars 2 (G) When: June 24 Where: Check your local listings

The sequel to the popular animated children’s movie where star racecar picks up with Lightning McQueen and his best friend Mater heading overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix.

What: “The Price” directed by David Flagg

When: June 24-25 @8 p.m., June 26 @2 p.m. Where: The Stagecrafters Theater 8130 Germantown Ave. Chestnut Hill

This weekend is your last chance to see “The Price” performed by the Stagecrafters. Written by Arthur Miller in 1967, the story centers on a pair of estranged brothers who must come together to discuss what to do with their late parents’ property.

Katy’s outlandish outfits and risqué lyrics got her attention; her music got her fans. Her “California Dreams” tour is less than a month in, and she has already touched down in six states with a high-demand concert almost every other day.
