Airy USA is partnering with the Free Library of Philadelphia and the Trolley Car Diner to host a Moonlight Movies outdoor series that concludes this week with with  E.T., the 1982 sci-fi classic in which a shy boy finds a stranded extraterrestrial and must find the courage to defy authority to return the alien to his home planet. Seating will begin at 8 p.m.

Fireman’s Hall Museum and the Fire Zouaves of the 72nd Pennsylvania Regiment have just opened a new exhibit highlighting the role that Philadelphia’s volunteer firemen played in the Civil War. The exhibit includes documents and artifacts from the Philadelphia Fire Zouaves, the Pennsylvania 72nd Regiment.
