Sept. 25. Valley Green Inn & 7 Valley Road. Complainant states she parked her vehicle in order to visit a relative at 4 p.m. and someone broke the driver’s side lock and stole a purse containing a Sony digital camera, a red wallet with a Citibank debit card, a Capital One credit card, house keys, Pa. driver’s license and money.
Sept. 28. 7600 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., an unknown person stole a FEMA food stamp card from her purse. Reported at 10 p.m.
Sept. 30. 8300 block Cherokee Street. Between 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 30, an unknown person broke the left door lock to a 2000 silver Suburban and stole a lady’s straw handbag containing a cell phone, checkbook and various personal identification items.
Summary – Three crimes for week: one theft and two thefts from vehicles.
