Mary was a kind, fun, caring, devoted and loving teacher at Jenkintown Day Nursery for 34 years. Her children, as she called them, learned to care about others and to enjoy learning every day. There was a lot of fun and laughter in Mary’s room. She greatly enhanced so many young lives, as well as the lives of staff and JDN board members with her insight and humor. May she rest in peace.

I knew Miss Mary for most of her teaching days at J.D. N. Doris Berlinger, the Director that hired her, had a sense Mary was just the person to fill the opening. A better decision could not have been made. When I would walk into her classroom she prompted the children to greet me by saying, “Hello, Mrs. Bux.” Her students loved and respected her as well as other staff members. May her love, laughter and gift of teaching remain in the Jenkintown Nursery.

Peace be with you for always.
