Jan. 22. 8100 block Devon Street. Complainant states that between 4 and 10 p.m., an unknown person broke the lock off the back door and stole money, a safe, jewelry, passport and vehicle registration.
Jan. 22. 200 block W. Springfield Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person broke into a white 2000 Chevy S-10 and stole two wallets (first one, a black wallet containing money, TD Bank card and GAP credit card; second one contained credit cards) Owner of second wallet states that one of her credit cards was used. Reported at 5:15 p.m.
Jan. 23. 8600 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that a black male came into store and asked about sports glasses. Employee had to go to rear of store for a price check. After offender left, employee noticed seven Armani frames and one Giorgio Airmani frame missing.
Jan. 24. 8500 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states he was doing an inventory check and found that he was missing the following items: one ceramic vase blue/green in color with nude woman, one ceramic vase yellow in color with nude woman, and bronze figure of a bird, Japanese made.
Summary — Four crimes for week: one burglary, two retail thefts, one theft from vehicle.
