Harry D. Fisher passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was 69. Mr. Fisher was a resident of Philadelphia PA. He was a bank manager for Continental Bank at Shannondell in Audubon, PA and a former bank manager at Progress Bank in Bridgeport, PA. Harry was the secretary and treasurer of the Bridgeport-Upper Merion Lions Club, as well as a past President. He was a past Master of the William L. Elkins Mason Lodge #271 in Philadelphia, PA. Harry was also a member of the Montgomery County ARC. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 12, 1942, he was a son of the late Harry D. and Ida Mae (Fullerton) Fisher. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 44 years, Marianne S. (Boorse) Fisher; 4 sons: David Fisher and his wife, Amy, of State College, PA, Michael Fisher and his wife, Tammy, of Shavertown, PA, Daniel Fisher of Philadelphia, PA and Thomas Fisher of Philadelphia, PA; 1 daughter, Dawn Marie Fisher of Philadelphia, PA; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward G. Stivetts. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harry’s memory to the Bridgeport-Upper Merion Lions Club, 312 Covered Bridge Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
