The following crimes are from the week of Oct. 7 to Oct. 13, 2012.
Oct. 7. 400 block W. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states that an unknown person attempted to gain entry when alarm went off. Back gate and screen door were left open. Gate and screen door were shut when complainant left house and house was secure. Reported at 12 a.m.
Oct. 8. 7700 block Cherokee Street. Between 5 a.m. on Oct. 3 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 6, an unknown person stole a blue Racine bike from enclosed porch.
Oct. 9. Unit block W. Bells Mill Road. An unknown person entered a woman's locked 2002 silver Honda Civic and stole a Citizens Bank MasterCard and a GAP card. Reported at 2:30 p.m.
Oct. 9. Unit block E. Abington Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the front passenger side window of a woman's gray Honda CRV and stole a toy truck. Reported at 6 p.m.
Oct. 9. Unit block W. Hartwell Lane. Complainant states that between 6 p.m. on Oct. 8 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 9, an unknown person broke the right front window of a black 2009 Honda Accord and stole a computer bag containing a black Lenova laptop computer.
Oct. 10. 7600 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states that when she went home she noticed front door lock had been tampered with and when she turned on the computer she found two unfamiliar email addresses: “LaLa@gmail.com” and “Bereck@aol.com.”
