Philadelphia – Due to expected inclement weather on Wednesday, Nov. 7, the closure for the Cresheim Valley Drive Project has been rescheduled for Friday, November 9, Streets Commissioner Clarena Tolson announced today. The closure affects Cresheim Valley Drive from Germantown Avenue to Cresheim Road.
Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic around the work area using Allens Lane and Germantown Avenue. Cresheim Valley Drive is expected to reopen to traffic on Friday evening. After this closure, it is expected that the contractor will resume their scheduled roadway work using single-lane closures during the off-peak hours of 9am to 4pm, using flag persons to direct motorists. Overall construction is expected to last until January 2013.
The Streets Department thanks the citizens in advance for their patience and cooperation during this project.
