The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 27 to Feb. 2, 2013.
Jan. 27. 7700 block Germantown Ave. Police responded to this location for a burglar alarm and found the front door open and the glass broken. Offender was observed as a black male wearing a gray hoody, dark jacket, possibly camouflaged tan pants. Offender fled in a silver mini van, possibly a Dodge Caravan. Occurred at 3:05 a.m.
Jan. 30. 7900 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that someone stole his blue 1988 Buick Century, Pennsylvania tag HZS 1446. Reported at 3:30 p.m.
Jan. 31. 300 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that a screen window was bent in as if someone had attempted to open window. Reported at 1 a.m.
Summary – One stolen vehicle and two burglaries.
