Crime Report: Two cars stolen

The following crimes are from the week of Feb. 3 to Feb. 9, 2013.

Feb. 3. 400 block E. Abington Avenue. Complainant states that someone stole a 2007 Hyundai Sonata, Pennsylvania tag HMX 8034 while vehicle was warming up. Inside vehicle was a car seat, booster seat, glasses and money. Reported at 6:51 a.m.

Feb. 4. 8000 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that someone stole a 4 ft. x 10 ft. vinyl advertising banner which was firmly secured by bolts.

Feb. 4. 7700 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that offenders came into store and fled store with seven iPhone cases. First offender, black male, 155 lbs., facial hair with a tattoo on face. Second offender black female, dark complexion, woven hair, wearing a dark jacket and bluejeans.

Feb. 5. 8300 block Lynnewood Lane. Complainant states that between 8 p.m. on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5, someone entered a 2012 black Jeep Cherokee and stole a dark blue wallet with a Temple logo, spare set of keys, license, Social Security card, Federal Express identification, Visa card, Blue Cross and Blue Shield medical cards.

Feb. 6. 200 block W. Gravers Lane. Complainant states he parked his 2006 red Sorento and took the train to center city. When he returned at 12:40 a.m., his vehicle had been stolen. Pennsylvania tag HVK 0380.

Summary – Five crimes for week: two stolen vehicles, one theft and two thefts from vehicles.
