Local architect turned novelist Joel Levinson will sign copies of his novel “The Reluctant Hunter” at the Barnes and Noble in Plymouth Meeting, 2300 Chemical Rd, on Saturday, April 20, at noon.
The novel is set in the spring of 1992, as the former Communist country of Yugoslavia begins to disintegrate into mayhem. It is the story of Jusuf Pasalic, a college-age secular Muslim, who is taken from his home and transported in a convoy of Serbian trucks with hundreds of Muslim men and boys to a concentration camp. After escaping, Jusuf is intent on returning home to save his mother.
