The following crimes are from the week of November 10 to November 16, 2013.

Nov. 11. Germantown & Hillcrest Avenue. Complainant states that two black males attempted to car jack her when one of the males pulled out a knife and told her to get out of her car. When she got out, she pulled out her own gun. Males then retreated and fled. Complainant has a license to carry her gun. First offender was in a gray Mercedes with rust-colored seats. Second male was driving an Altima with 2001 Jeep tag ANJ 5879. Before males left they exchanged tags on their cars. First male, 6' tall, medium complexion, wearing a red shirt, blue hoody, blue jeans, wearing a gold chain with tear drop on right eye. Second male, medium complexion, wearing a blue hoody and blue jeans. At a neighborhood meeting on Nov. 12, 14th District Captain John Flemming said the complaint was investigated by Northwest Detectives and determined to be unfounded.

Nov. 11. 8200 block Ardleigh Street. Between 8:20 a.m. and 4 p.m., an unknown person entered home and stole a 48” Samsung television, MacBook Air, iPad, a white Visio laptop, Tiffany sterling silver with name engraved, two Tiffany bracelets, David Yurman ring and bracelet, Blackberry phone, cell phone, costume jewelry with box and several polo shirts. Complainant noticed a side window open. When she had left earlier, window was closed.

Nov. 11. Unit block E. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a 2009 Mercedes 350, Pennsylvania tag GVV 6259. Keys were inside vehicle.

Nov. 11. Unit block Hilltop Road. Complainant was remodeling home at this location when a black male entered complainant's 2004 white Ford F 250, Pennsylvania tag YAD 5070.

Nov. 13. Unit block W. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states that between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., an unknown person entered her 2013 Mazda and stole one Capital One credit card which was used and an L.L. Bean Credit card.

Nov. 14. 200 block E. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a 2012 black Maxima, Pennsylvania tag JDL 7953.

Nov. 14. 7700 block Stenton Avenue. Complainant states he was in hallway when he was approached by two black males. One pulled out a black handgun and stated, “Empty out your pockets.” Complainant states he dropped money to the floor and was struck in the back of his head with a gun. Complainant was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Summary – Six crimes for week: one burglary, two robberies, two stolen vehicles, and one theft from vehicle.
