Ruth S. HuthChrist Ascension Lutheran Church is pleased to announce the appointment of Ruth S. Huth as the new director of Christ Lutheran Child Care Center at 8300 Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill.
Ms. Huth comes to the center highly recommended with over twenty years of experience in the field of education both as a teacher of young children for eleven years and as a Director of Child Care for the past nine years.
Ms. Huth presents strong skills in curriculum development, personnel management, and administration. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Moravian College and has completed 30 credits toward a master's degree in early childhood education from Kean College.
The Christ Lutheran Child Care Center has been operating as a mission of Christ Ascension Lutheran Church for 39 years. As Ms. Huth assumes the mantle of director, she will further the outreach mission of the church. She will be working with an experienced staff of 17 with a combined 116 years of service at the center. Together with the staff and families, the church warmly welcomes Ruth S. Huth to Chestnut Hill.
