The Chestnut Hill Business District announced today that there will be a number of spring events happening in Chestnut Hill on Friday, April 11 through Sunday, April 13. The Royal Rummage Sale, Second Sunday and The Clover Market will offer a variety of fun, family-friendly options for shopping, dining and enjoying the season on Germantown Avenue. and throughout the neighborhood.
Among the shops participating in the Royal Rummage Sidewalk Sale on Friday, April 11, through Sunday, April 13, are: Villavillekula; Curio Philadelphia; Oxford Circus Toys; Lavender Hill; Chestnut Hill Gallery; Delphine Gallery; Artisans on the Avenue; Mango; roots, inc., Style Camp, Green Street Consignment; Robertson’s Flowers; Modern Bird Studio and Antique Gallery.
On April 13, many restaurants will offer brunch specials as part of Second Sunday in Chestnut Hill, including Chef Al Paris’ new Paris Bistro. For music lovers, Woodmere Art Museum hosts violinist Rebecca Harris, who will perform music from 17th century Austria by composer Heinrich Biber.
The Clover Market returns to Chestnut Hill on Sunday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 25 W. Highland Ave. The market will be held rain or shine in the parking lot just off West Highland Avenue. in the 8500 block of Germantown Ave.
The Clover Market is a seasonal, outdoor market featuring more than 100 vendors selling antiques, collectibles, vintage jewelry and clothing, finely crafted handmade items, and original art. There will be free craft activities for children, and dogs are welcome. A number of food trucks will be participating, including: Bryn and Dane's; Delicias; Surf and Turf Truck; Sweetbox Cupcakes and Bake Shop; Mac Mart Cart; Sum Pig Food Truck; Reanimator Coffee; and Weckerly's Kitchen.
