Pastorius Park Concert news The Pastorius Park concert committee has announced the line up of artists for this year’s concert series. All shows, with the exception of the kids’ concert, will take place Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in Pastorius Park. • June 15: The Allentown Band kicks off the season in their 27th consecutive performance with a patriotic concert. Get ready to wave your flag. • June 22: Full Frontal Folk will knock your socks off with a contemporary twist on old-timey favorites. • June 29: Klingon Klez in a repeat performance of Klezmer sounds that the whole family will love. • July 6: Grammy awarding-winning brass quintet The Chestnut Brass makes its park debut. • July 13: Singer/songwriter Phil Roy and his band bring his critically acclaimed music to the park. • July 20: Let the good times roll with Alligator Zydeco. • July 27: Swing night with the Jump City Jazz Band. • August 3: Solas, back by popular demand, brings exciting traditional Irish music to the park. • August 10: Pastorius Park is thrilled to welcome the virtuoso trio, Time for Three, in what will prove to be one of the most memorable park concerts in its long history. • August 17: The concert series concludes on a high note with local jazz piano master Orrin Evans and his band. Kidzapalooza – the Annual Kids’ Concert – will be held on Sunday, July 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. and will feature Erin Flynn and the Co-op Band, plus lots of fun, food and festivity. |
