Crime Report • Chestnut Hill The following crimes are from the week of May 22 to May 28, 2005 May 23. 8100 block Stenton Ave. Complainant state that three black males, the first possibly with a 45mm handgun, told him and another man to get on the ground and then took from the first man a cell phone, keys, wallet with IDs, money and a Denver Nuggets baseball cap. Taken from the second victim was a set of keys. First offender, 5’9” tall, dark skin, 160 lbs., facial hair, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, gray and white Denver Nuggets baseball cap with handgun. Second male, 6’1” tall, 175 lbs., 17 years old. Third male, 6’1” tall, 175 lbs. Males fled southbound on Stenton Ave. May 24. 200 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., an unknown person stole a tan 1999 Chevy GMC SUV from train station. May 24. 9600 Germantown Ave. Security manager states that an unknown person pried open both sides of a metal storage box located inside room 225 and stole seven laptop computers, Serial Nos. 78RG009, 78RG013, 78RG034, 78RG0036, 78RG056 and 78RG071. Reported at 4 p.m. on May 19. May 25. 100 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that between 10:30 p.m. on May 24 and 8:45 a.m. on May 25, an unknown person stole a white 1994 Ford Econoline, Pennsylvania tag FYB8667 equipped with a wheelchair lift. May25. 8300 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states he was in hallway in school when an 8th grader approached him about an incident that happened between complainant and his cousin. Before he could respond, offender hit him on left side of face and he was taken to Chestnut Hill Hospital. Complainant sustained a fractured jaw and will require surgery. Occurred at 1:35 p.m. May 28. 8100 block Shawnee Street. Between 6:30 p.m. on May 27 and 12 p.m. on May 28, an unknown person stole a green Mercury Tracer, Pennsylvania tag FHM2910. May 28. 8300 block Germantown Ave. Between 10:30 p.m. on May 27 and 4 p.m. on May 28, an unknown person broke the driver’s side window and stole the car stereo system.
