Crime Report • Chestnut Hill The following crimes are from the week of May 29 to June 4, 2005 May 29. 7700 block Navajo Street. Complainant states that an 11 to 15 year old black male wearing a brown shirt and blue jeans came up driveway and stole a girl’s pink bicycle. Occurred at 12:45 p.m. May 29. 7600 block Stenton Ave. Police found a yellow 1995 Jeep Cherokee in the apartment building’s parking lot with passenger window broken and ignition popped. Found at 2:42 a.m. Police were unable to find owner. Owner did call the district an hour later. May 29. 7700 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that between 11 p.m. on May 28 and 11:30 a.m. on May 29, an unknown person stole four tires and rims from a silver 2003 Nissan 35OZ. May 30. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Manager states that a black male entered store and took eight to 10 unopened digital videos and fled store without paying for them. Male, 21-25 years old, 6’4” tall, thin build, long goatee, wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans. Male fled in a 1993-94 black Suzuki Sidekick sedan.
