Additional officer nominees

In addition to the nominees for officers and at-large members of the executive committee announced last week, several CHCA board members have put in their names for consideration at this week’s annual organizational meeting.

At large members of the executive committee: Lou Aiello, Mary-Anna Ross Cowper, Lawrence Walsh, Virginia Mallery. President: Ann Ward Spaeth. VP Physical Division: Janine Dwyer. If Chris Kemezis withdraws his name from consideration for the VP of Operations position, Lou Aiello will be considered as a nominee for that post.

The nominating committee has also announced that its recommended nominee for V.P. of the Social Division is now Dina Hitchcock.

New board to take seats this week
The 2005-2006 Chestnut Hill Community Association board of directors will meet for the first time since the May elections at Hiram Lodge on Thursday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m. This annual organizational meeting also includes elections for officers and at-large members of the executive committee. Only members of the board of directors in good standing are allowed to vote.
CHCA bylaws call for 36 at-large (elected) board members, four interlocking directorships (organizations with a CHCA representative on their board and vice-versa), and up to six institutional directorships (representatives from other local institutions). The 2005-2006 CHCA board of directors is as follows.

* CHCA bylaws call for one past president member on the board of directors, currently Stewart Graham. Based on the outcome of Thursday’s officer’s elections, either Graham will maintain his past president status or Maxine Dornemann will move into the past president position and Graham will remain an at-large board member. Either outcome will create a vacancy on the at-large board member list, which will be filled by Dick Becker (class of 2006).
