Community manager welcomed
Betty Brady, the newly hired community manager, began work Tuesday at the offices of the Chestnut Hill Community Association, located at 8434 Germantown Ave.
Members of the community are invited to contact Brady for information on CHCA matters or to make the association aware of issues. Her hours are Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; her phone number is 215-242-8811.
Brady, former manager of the Chestnut Hill Community Center, was approved by the CHCA board during its June meeting at Hiram Lodge.
The responsibilities of the community manager include overseeing the financial affairs of the CHCA and community fund, assisting with fundraising/budgets/property management, maintaining CHCA files and staff management. The community manager is also meant to be a resource person who is familiar with the activities and initiatives of various CHCA committees, responds to the needs of the community, disseminates information and fulfills media requests, maintains communication with other community groups and works with volunteers.

No tickets will be issued. A list will be kept of all those who have signed up and are pre-paid, as well as those who have signed up and wish to pay at the Park.
