Zoe Klein, of Chestnut Hill, a junior at Denison University, will be attending Middlesex University in England for the fall 2004 semester.
Laura Peranteau, of Chestnut Hill, has graduated from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in the Science In Society program.
David Peranteau, of Chestnut Hill, graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Government and History, with a minor in French.
Mary Loretta Schindler, of Roxborough, has graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a doctor of pharmacy degree.
Theresa Bielski, of Chestnut Hill, attended the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine (NYLF/MED) in Philadelphia from July 3 to July 12. Bielski, a senior at Bishop McDevitt High School, joined 350 other high school students from around the country who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential and an interest in a career in medicine. Throughout the ten-day forum, NYLF/MED will introduce Bielski to a variety of concepts in public health, medical ethics, research and general practice, and will include site visits to medical facilities and clinics.
Shalonze Letian Mivens, 5, of Germantown, has been chosen as a state finalist in the 2004 Miss Pennsylvania Princess Pageant. She will compete in Harrisburg on July 23-24.

Top academically talents students from Pennsylvania were honored this spring after participating in a national academic talent search organized by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY), which identifies America's top students in grades two through eight and provides programs, services and resources to help them make the most of their special academic abilities (see www.cty.jhu.edu). These young people were invited to participate in CTY's talent search because they scored at the 97th percentile or higher on school standardized tests. They then took additional above-grade-level exams, which yielded further information about their verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities.
