GFS CHAMPS Germantown Friends School's (GFS) girls track team won the Friends School League (FSL) championship earlier this year. GFS’s girls won their first FSL title in seven years, setting a meet record in the 4x400 (4:13.9).The girls were led by Julia Bergman, who won both the 100 meter hurdles (18.1) and the 300 meter hurdles (50.4); Sabrina Sampson-Knapp who won the javelin (98 feet 9 inches) and ran the second leg of the 4x400; and Maddie Davis-Hayes who took the 800 (2:26) and anchored on the 4x400. |
