Hoop-It-Up in Philly

The 2004 Hoop-It-Up National Tour will make its 16th annual Philadelphia stop on July 24-25 in the Franklin Mills Mall parking lot at 1455 Franklin Mills Circle in the Northeast. The tournament features a two-day basketball extravaganza with area and statewide players competing in three-on-three games for those age eight and up.

Players may form teams of up to five members (includes substitutes) and must register by Monday, July 19. Teams are then placed in divisions with others of similar age and height.

Teams can register online at www.hoopitup.com, call 215-416-9032, or visit an area Finish Line store to pick up a $10 discounted entry form. Registered teams are guaranteed three scheduled games with the entry fee of $135 per team. Spectator admission is free.
