Unused newspaper boxes removed
In response to a request from the community association, Tom Basile, district manager of the Philadelphia Inquirer, has removed unused Inquirer newspaper boxes from various locations around the Hill, CHCA community manager Betty Brady said this week. Brady also thanked Basile for providing a new “beautiful green box” for newspapers at the top of the Hill.Brady also reports that Sanjiv Jain, physical division vice president and owner of Property Management, recently volunteered his company to clean up Germantown Avenue from Bethlehem Pike to Cresheim Valley Drive. Volunteers are needed for planting, weeding and cleanup. Those interested should call aesthetics committee chair Richard Maloumian at 215-248-1695.
