Candidates forum

East Mount Airy Neighbors and West Mount Airy Neighbors will hold a candidates' night for those seeking election to the 200th Legislative District on Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in Hagan Hall at the Lutheran Theological Seminary, 7301 Germantown Ave. in Mount Airy.

The candidates are: Cherelle Parker (Democrat), Robert Rossman (Republican) and Marlene Santoyo (Green Party).

The special election for the 200th Legislative District (Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill, and Roxborough) seat formerly held by State Rep. LeAnna Washington will be on Sept.13.
