Crime Report The
following crimes are from the week of October 12 to October
18, 2003. October
12. Anderson Street & Gravers Lane. At 11:45 p.m., complainant
states that while he was waiting for his girlfriend to get into
her car, two black males wearing all black clothing walked up
to him from behind and one male stated, “don’t do
anything, just give me your wallet.” Then they took his
wallet from his back pocket. Complainant states he did not see
a weapon. A third male was in a silver Buick Century with tinted
windows, which fled eastbound on Gravers Lane. October
12. 8600 block Germantown Ave. Between 11:30 p.m. on October
10 and 8:45 a.m. on October 11, an unknown person broke into
store. Complainant noticed cabinet where cash drawer was broken
and money was missing. October
13. 7800 Stenton Ave. Between 9 p.m. on October 11 and 8 a.m.
on October 13, an unknown person stole a red 1997 Honda Accord,
Pennsylvania tag EMM7899. October
15. 700 block Wolcott Drive. Complainant states that an unknown
person stole a green 1993 Honda Accord, Pennsylvania tag EBH,
last four digits unknown. Inside trunk were two boxes of wire
cubic shelving and a vanity license tag with yellow background
with a Red Lion Scottish symbol. October
16. 100 block W. Meade Street. Between 9 a.m. and 10:15 p.m.,
an unknown person broke back door and stole two shotguns, one
single barrel and one double barrel, one XL Winbook laptop computer,
scanner, phone and jewelry. October
17. 300 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that an
unknown person stole a black 1995 BMW motorcycle, Pennsylvania
tag JSC05. Reported at 5:45 p.m. October
18. 9500 block Germantown Ave. Between 5:45 and 7 p.m., an unknown
person pried open driver’s side door and stole a wallet
containing various credit cards, IDs and money. October
18. 7700 block McCallum Street. Complainant states that he observed
two males at his 1991 Plymouth. First male was inside and second
male was standing outside. When complainant approached, first
male jumped out of car and the two males ran eastbound on Wolcott
Drive. First male, 15 - 17 years old, 5’8” to 5’9”
tall, 160 lbs., medium build, dark complexion, short hair wearing
a white t-shirt and dark jeans. Second male, 15 - 17 years old,
150 lbs., medium build, dark complexion, wearing a gray hooded
sweatshirt and beige sweatpants. Happened at 5:59 p.m. October
18. 7800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown
person stole a mink coat/jacket made by Jacques Ferber. Small
size. Reported at 3 p.m. Summary
— Nine crimes for week: one robbery, two burglaries, three
stolen vehicles, two thefts from vehicles and one retail theft. Town
