Boorse-Scharnberger Wedding

Charles and Betti-Bob Scharnberger of Millersville, Pa. announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Scharnberger of Mt. Airy, to Michael Boorse of Chestnut Hill, son of Jack and Penny Boorse formerly of Chestnut Hill.

Amy is a graduate of Springfield College, Springfield, Mass. and is employed by Germantown Friends School as associate director of alumni relations.

Michael is a graduate of Temple University and now works as the director of publications and public information in Germantown Friends School.

The couple is planning a summer 2006 wedding in Millersville, after which they will reside in Chestnut Hill.

pastaSpaghetti Dinner for Charity

The Rotary Club of Chestnut Hill will host a spaghetti dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Solaris Grille, 8201 Germantown Ave. The proceeds will support charitable activities of the Chestnut Hill Rotary Foundation. Seating times are 4:30-5:30 p.m., 5:30-6:30 p.m., 6:30-7:30 p.m. and 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Assorted beverages and desserts will be provided and a cash bar at the restaurant will be available. Donation: $12, adults; $6, children.

Tickets can be purchased from members of the Rotary Club of Chestnut Hill, or Carol Schwartz Gallery, 101 Bethlehem Pike; Carson Wagonlit Travel, 8138 Germantown Ave.; and Edwards Jones Investments, 8640 Germantown Ave.
