Stock up on your jeans and turtlenecks, because the Gap, at 8600 Germantown Ave., is closing its doors at the end of business on Friday, December 26. Bah humbug.

Crime Report

The following crimes are from the weeks of November 16 to November 29, 2003.

Nov. 16. 200 block E. Highland Ave. Between 10 p.m. on Nov. 15 and 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 16, complainant states that living room window pane of glass was broken and screen was laying against window. Beer bottle was on floor which did not belong to resident. Nothing was taken.

Nov. 16. 8600 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person broke into newsstand and stole five magazines and money. Reported at 3:30 p.m.
