On Saturday morning, scores of people walked around Chestnut Hill, carrying blue booties on their way to tour five houses decorated festively for the holiday season. The annual holiday house tour benefits the Community Fund which distributes money to area social, humanitarian, green and educational organizations. Two of the tour goers were Barbara Braxton of Wyndmoor and Bert Asbury of Mount Airy Braxton described a beautiful place setting in the house they had just visited. At the Glazer house where interior designer Patricia Cove and placemat creator Sandra McFarland were on hand to talk about their work.
