The Chestnut Hill Newsstand switched owners at the begninning of March and big changes are happening.
The new owner is Chestnut Hill resident and City Councilman Frank Rizzo Chief of Staff Stewart Graham. Among the most noticeable changes Graham is introducing are healthy snacks and flowers. The biggest change, though, is that cigarettes will no longer be on the shelves.
Brian Rudnick stopped by the newsstand last week to talk to newsstand employee and jazz pianist Chris Marsceill. Marsceill, the hardest-working pianist in Chestnut Hill, has been working at the newsstand for the past few months.
