Bowman Properties’ Magarity proposal was unanimously approved by the Philadelphia City Planning Commission yesterday. [For more, see yesterday's story here]
Near neighbors Terry Halbert and Eric Spaeth both attended the meeting and voiced concerns about the project. Both said they felt neighbors were not being hear.
“We really feel process itself has been deeply flawed,” Halbert said. “When developer first rolled out this idea his team made it very clear to all of us that their plan was to go to city council and get zoning legislation to enable their plan to exist just the way they wanted it to.

The endorsement of the planning commission sets up the proposal for a hearing before City Council tomorrow [Thursday, Dec. 15] at 10:30 a.m.
