School bus catches fire in Mt. Airy

A fire broke out on a school bus on Monday afternoon on the 7100 block of Germantown Ave. around 3:30 p.m., according to officials at the Philadelphia Fire Department. Eight students, all disabled, were from John F. McClosky and F.S. Edmunds elementary schools. Two students were transported to the hospital for evaluation. No one was injured due to the fire.
