Crime Report: Three homes burglarized

The following crimes are from the week of July 15 to July 21, 2012.

July 15. 8800 block Norwood Ave. Between 9 p.m. on July 12 and 9 a.m. on July 15, SA car owner found that someone had stolen the following from his vehicle: a global positioning system, black leather wallet, identification, debit card and money. Pry marks were found on both sides of the vehicle.

July 16. 7900 block Stenton Ave. Between 4:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. on July 16, someone stole a brown 2008 Nissan Sentra.

July 21. 7900 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that someone entered his home and stole one 13” Mac laptop, one Louis Vuitton wallet, one Louis Vuitton calendar and two oxycodene pills.

July 21. 200 block W. Highland Ave. Between afternoon of July 17 and July 19, a homeowner re[ported that someone broke into his home.. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken. Police observed pry marks on front door.

July 21. Unit block Rex Ave. Between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m., someone gained entry through kitchen window and stole items from dining room and master bedroom.

Summary — Five crimes for week: three burglaries, one stolen vehicle and one theft from vehicle.
