SLIDESHOW: Mt. Airy Village Fair

Although the first day of fall was Saturday, Sept. 22, it’s not officially autumn in Mt. Airy until the annual Mt. Airy Village Fair, which was held this year on Sunday, Sept. 23. The old-fashioned fair was held on Greene Street from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It featured a blueberry-pie-eating contest, live music, a petting zoo, donkey cart rides and a pet contest with the theme “Twins: Dress Like Your Pet!”
