News October 26, 2012 0 Comments

Cresheim Valley Drive from Germantown Avenue to Cresheim Road will be closed to traffic for two days of roadway work on Tuesday, October 30 and Wednesday, October 31, weather permitting, Streets Commissioner Clarena Tolson announced today.

Detour signs will be posted to direct traffic around the work area using Allens Lane and Germantown Avenue. Cresheim Valley Drive is expected to reopen to traffic on Wednesday night, October 31. After this two-day closure, it is expected that the contractor will resume their scheduled roadway work using single-lane closures during the off-peak hours of 9 a.m. To 4 p.m., using flag persons to direct motorists. Overall construction is expected to last until January 2013.

The Streets Department thanks the citizens in advance for their patience and cooperation during this project.
