‘Girls Night Out’ on Feb. 27 to support Meals on Wheels

The Chestnut Hill Business Districtwill host a “Girls Night Out” shopping event on Thursday, Feb. 27, to benefit Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels. Free parking will be available after 6 p.m. in the lots located along Germantown Ave., plus patrons will have the opportunity to win tickets to the 2014 Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Philadelphia Flower Show.

The following shops and restaurants will be donating a portion of their sale proceeds on Feb. 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.:

J. McLaughlin, Style Camp, Philadelphia Print Shop, Artisans on the Avenue, Oxford Circus Toys, Gravers Lane Gallery, Tavern on the Hill, McNally’s Tavern, Windfall Gallery Donation, Rollers Restaurant at Flying Fish, El Quetzal, Kitchen Kapers and Chocolate Hill Candy & Fudge Shop.

Patrons of “Girls Night Out” can enter to win tickets at the participating shops and restaurants. Three pairs of tickets will be given away to supporters of Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels.

Randolph’s Jewelers in Chestnut Hill is donating a piece of jewelry to Meals on Wheels so that it can be auctioned off at an upcoming charity event.

Chestnut Hill Meals on Wheels is a community-based, non-profit organization devoted to meeting the daily nutritional needs of any of its neighbors challenged by illness, disability or age.
