Jennifer C. MacNeill of Framingham, MA, 46, passed away on February 13, 2014 in her sleep following a courageous 7 year struggle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Malcolm H. MacNeill, and her daughters Ceilidh MacNeill, Elizabeth MacNeill and Grace MacNeill. She was the daughter of the late John G. Christy and Sally Johnston of Lafayette Hill, PA. Her brother Andrew R. Christy lives in Plano, TX. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she spent most of her childhood in Chestnut Hill, PA, attending the Springside School, where she made many close friends. Jennifer graduated from Choate – Rosemary Hall in 1986. She graduated from Boston University in 1990. Jennifer coached Field Hockey and Lacrosse at St. Mark’s School for several years. She worked as a store manager for many years, primarily at Rugged Bear in Wellesley, MA and Sudbury, MA. Jennifer loved watching her daughters play sports throughout their school careers. She enjoyed long walks with her husband. She loved animals, including 2 Labs and 3 cats. She was an excellent seamstress and made many quilts. Jennifer was an avid gardener. She had an amazing smile and a wry sense of humor. A Memorial Service for Jennifer will be held in the Belmont Chapel at St. Mark’s School, 25 Marlborough St., Southborough, MA on March 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow.
