WANTS HIS FAMILY BACK: This friendly little dog was found by a good Samaritan on March 29 near Wadsworth and Stenton Avenues in East Mt. Airy.
He is a male, roughly six months old, with no collar no microchip, very sweet and playful, but he misses his family. Contact the Montco SPCA, 19 East Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, at 610-825-0111 if he is your dog.
ADOPT FEBRUARY IN APRIL: February is a petite orange swirl tabby female, which is a rare find. About eight months old she was rescued during the "polar vortex" climbing through snow that was taller than she stands trying to get to the food that was being delivered to her alley in North Philly. She is still a little timid but loves affection and brushing. She has been tested, vaccinated and spayed. Call Brenda at 215-872-1636 to meet her. Go to www.brendascatrescue.com to meet her foster friends also waiting for a loving home.
ABANDONED BUT HOPEFUL: Chucho is a cream white kitty with a few black spots, including a small one on his adorable nose! Chucho was given up by his owners when they could no longer care for him. He is 1-2 years old and is a little nervous to be in the shelter. He's a sweet boy and can't wait to have a new family! Chucho (number A2210237) is vetted/vaccinated and is at Philadelphia's animal control shelter, 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., and needs immediate adoption, rescue or foster care. Adoption hours are 1-8 Monday through Friday and 10-5 on weekends. For more information, call 267-385-3800, email email@example.com or visit acctphilly.org.
