J.J. Murphy will be the featured author for the next Literary Salon held by the Chestnut Hill Center for Enrichment (CHCE), May 8 at 7 p.m. in the Chestnut Hill Hotel Bombay Room.
Murphy, an award-winning health care writer in Pennsylvania, has also been a long-time Dorothy Parker fan. He started writing “The Algonquin Round Table Mysteries” after the birth of his twin daughters as an escape from toddler television. He has published three novels: “You Might As Well Die,” “Murder Your Darlings,” and “A Friendly Game of Murder,” plus the short story “Hair of the Dog.”
