Mexican students were the guests of ninth graders as part of an international exchange program that GFS has participated in for more than 28 years. The GFS students are returning the hospitality that they received when they visited Tlaxcala in February.
Rachel Bradburd, GFS Spanish teacher and coordinator of the exchange program, says, “a sense of community has been built among the group this year that is really amazing.”
The students visited the National Constitution Center, toured Center City and experienced Quaker education at GFS.
Bradburd says, “The exchange allows us to open our community and show others what GFS is about and establish lasting connections with other communities.”
