Springside Chestnut Hill Academy 10th grader Gabriella Sciarrotta (left), Drexel University’s Dr. Steve May, and 10th grader Gib Randall (right) wok on a solar cell. May, Assistant Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Drexel University, visited Springside Chestnut Hill Academy’s 10th grade chemistry class for three days to introduce the students to material science engineering as part of the The Kleckner Scientist in Residence program, which brings a talented scientist to SCH each year to work with students over a three-day period.
