Crime Report: 3 thefts

The following crimes are from the week of June 22 to June 28, 2014.

June 24. 8500 block Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that when she was having lunch she observed offender seated behind her and attempting to remove items from her purse. Male fled on feet and was apprehended by police outside of location.

June 25. 200 block E. Evergreen Avenue. Complainant states she was last at her apartment at 5 p.m. on June 17, and that her son took a 50” Samsung TV and 20 fishing rods and put them in the basement. Complainant went to basement and items were gone.

June 27. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states that an unknown person went into a red 2000 Acura Integra and stole a car stereo, car starter, an iPad Touch and money.

Summary – Three crimes for week: one theft from vehicle and two other thefts.
