 r’easter Exchange\, a floating literary reading series that brings togethe
 r multicultural writers from the tri-state area to meet\, read and collabo
 rate. The Nor’easter Open is held on the second Friday of each month and w
 elcomes two featured readers followed by an open mic. Please arrive at lea
 st 15 minutes early (3:45pm) to sign up for the open mic\, and allot 3 min

 ockquote><p>This past September\, <strong>Beth Bosworth&#8217\;s</strong> 
 short story collection <em>The Source of Life and Other Stories</em> was r
 eleased by The University of Pittsburgh Press\, winning the 2012 Drue Hein
 z Literature Prize. She is also the author of <em>A Burden of Earth and Ot
 her Stories</em>. She is founding editor of <em>The Saint Ann&#8217\;s Rev
 iew</em> and has taught English and writing at Saint Ann&#8217\;s School\,
  The New School for Social Research and CUNY&#8217\;s New York City Techni
 cal College.</p></blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><strong>D. Nurkse</strong> i
 s the author of ten books of poetry\, most recently <em>A NIGHT IN BROOKLY
 N</em> (Knopf\, 2012). He&#8217\;s received fellowships from the Guggenhei
 m Foundation\, the National Endowment for the Arts\, the New York Foundati
 on for the Arts\, the Tanne Foundation\, and the Whiting Foundation\, and 
 awards from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the Poetry Founda
 tion. He&#8217\;s taught at Rikers Island\, inner city literacy programs\,
  and MFA programs. He currently works at Sarah Lawrence College.</p></bloc
