Astronaut Guy Gardner will talk about what it’s like to fly the Space Shuttle and to live in space, including a video that Mr. Gardner narrates, then briefly he will describe The Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades. There will be time for Q&A. Guy Gardner has served as an Air Force fighter pilot, test pilot, NASA astronaut, public speaker, NASA and FAA senior executive, public and private high school teacher, consultant, and head of three schools – the Air Force Test Pilot School, Riverside Military Academy, and Williamson. He is a graduate of the USAF Academy (BS), Purdue University (MS), Virginia Tech (MA), and numerous DoD schools. He and his wife Linda have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Attendees bring their own lunch. Dessert and a beverage will be provided. All are welcome. Suggested donation is $3. For more information call 215-247-8855.
