Join REI and Friends of the Wissahickon for National Trails Day. This year marks the 20th anniversary of National Trails Day, sponsored by the American Hiking Society. Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) will once again join in this nation-wide effort to care for the trails in Wissahickon Valley Park with the help of REI of Conshohocken. For over ten years, REI of Conshohocken has joined FOW on its monthly workdays in the Wissahickon. On National Trails Day, they will perform invasive plant removal and trail maintenance at the Andorra Natural Area. FOW is rebuilding the trail system in this area and need volunteers to help.
