8 p.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
The Presbyterian Church of Chestnut Hill, 8855 Germantown Ave.
A 13th-century French monastery struggling to make ends meet. A patron saint who has stopped working miracles. An impending visit from the Pope. A one-eyed minstrel named Jack. Identity theft, bread-making, and redemption. Playwright Michael Hollinger himself will be here to lead a “talk-back” with the cast and audience after the reading. The play is appropriate for all ages, but is most appealing to age 14 and older. Light refreshments will be provided. Admission is pay-what-you-will basis, to cover the costs of performance. For more information, call 215-247-8855.
