For most the day after Thanksgiving means waking up before dawn, wrestling crowds at the mall in an attempt to start holiday shopping, and everyone’s favorite: LEFT-OVERS. Instead of dealing with complaints about cold turkey head to the Venetian Club where for the ticket price of $40 ($35 for advance tickets) you can save the left-overs for Monday’s lunch and enjoy an evening of food, friends and entertainment. Beginning at 7 p.m. (doors at 6:30 p.m.) at the Venetian Club, (215-247-9858, the first of three bands will kick-off what hopes to become a tradition in Northwest Philadelphia, THE BLACK FRIDAY FREAK-OUT. Beer and wine is included in the ticket price. The evening will be catered by Drake’s Gourmet Foods, Primo Hoagies and Tavern on the Hill. Tickets can be purchased at the discounted price of $35 (cash only) at Hideaway Music in Chestnut Hill. The ticket price will be $40 at the door on the day of the event. Roger Learnard Band will perform with co-headliners Urban Drawl. Openers The Rusty Neils: A Neil Young Tribute. Included in the ticket price will be hors d’Oeuvres from Drake’s Gourmet Foods and Philly’s best wings from Tavern on the Hill will be available along with party trays from Primo Hoagies.
