Winner of the National Jewish Book Award for Outstanding Debut Fiction, Daniel Torday’s short novel The Sensualist follows a nice suburban teenager into distgurbing realms he has never experienced before, exposing him to violence, class hatred and defiant honesty.

In his eighth book of fiction, Curtis Smith mingles short-shorts and longer stories about loss—loss of love, family, health or some other essential. His tales capture brief moments that have lasting and complex implications. Free and open to the public; complimentary refreshments served.
