Develop your rhythmic skills with Philadelphia low, fast hoofing, which was created on the city’s streets in the 1930s. This session we’ll focus on great classic tap pieces from the Legendary LaVaughn Robinson, and blues from Howlin’ Wolf. Especially useful for musicians. (Tap shoes required.)

There will be a portion of time for a free guided tour of the Morris Arboretum on Saturday afternoon, with the emphasis being determined by the various interests of those touring. Each tour is designed specifically to highlight a particular section of the arboretum, however, there is no itinerary. It is recommended that those who are touring for the first time select the general tour of the arboretum to get an over-all idea of what the gardens have to offer. Enjoy sketching in a relaxed class. A variety of mediums will be demonstrated such as charcoal, pencil, pastels, pen and ink. Still lifes and photographs will be used for inspiration. The Urban Athletics classes are a 45 minute high-intensity blend of bodyweight exercises, speed and agility training, dumbbell & kettlebell training and more. Each class is lead by an instructor, taking you through your workout step-by-step, just like personal training without the added cost. This way you don’t have to worry about what you’re workout will be each day, nor do you have to question if you’re doing an exercise incorrectly. There is always a coach on staff to lead you through each workout. The cost is $20.
